Mezmo Homepage
As Mezmo transitioned from offering two distinct products—log analysis and telemetry pipelines—to positioning itself as a unified observability platform, I led the design of a new homepage experience to reflect
Research, Strategy & Design
Working quickly we planned out a multi-phase approach. I worked closely with product, design and engineering teams to quickly create mockups and prototypes – both manually and with the aid of AI. We launched a streamlined phase one experience designed for fast implementation and early customer feedback.
The initial phase included:
- Competitive analysis
- Brainstorming and collaboration with design team
- AI Prototyping based off PRD requirements
- Working closely with engineering to rapidly
deploy phase 1
Future iterations were planned to include personalized content, usage-driven insights, and an AI-powered assistant, laying the foundation for a more intelligent and integrated platform experience. These enhancements were intended to not only guide users quickly to high-value actions but also to reduce cognitive load by surfacing relevant information at the right time.
By aligning platform intelligence with user behavior, the homepage could evolve into a true command center—making orientation, guidance, and common actions into one cohesive entry point.
I worked with the marketing team to write and publish a blog post announcing the homepage release. The post highlighted key improvements, framed the launch as part of an ongoing evolution, and invited customers to share feedback—strengthening transparency and user engagement. By positioning the release as a collaborative milestone rather than a finished product, the post helped set expectations for continuous iteration and reinforced Mezmo’s commitment to building the platform in partnership with its users.
